Inside "The Sugiyama" old house.
"The Sugiyama" house was built about 300 years ago, is the oldest and most large private house in this area.
This house has been designated as important cultural properties from the Japanese government.
After the dismantling repair work, has been open to the public.

Hot and humid summer in Japan.
"FUSUMA(sliding door) " is separates the room and room.
And the wind will pass through as you open the "FUSUMA(sliding door) " , become comfortable.

「旧杉山家住宅」の内部。
杉山家はおよそ300年ほど前に建てられた、この一帯で最も古く大きな民家です。
この家は日本政府から重要文化財に指定されています。
解体修理工事の後、一般に公開されています。

日本の夏はとても暑くて湿度が高い。「襖（襖）」は部屋と部屋の間であり、それを開いて部屋を広く、通気を良くすることもできます。
